A New Chapter for Explora Thailand: Expanding Capacity at Chadakan Resort

Explora Thailand is proud to share the completion of our newest dormitory at Chadakan Resort in Kanchanaburi. Purpose built to support larger residential programmes, this addition significantly strengthens our ability to host schools, corporate teams and government institutions in a single consolidated space.

The new dorm comfortably houses more than 20 participants and is fully air conditioned, allowing guests to rest and recover well after physically demanding days outdoors. With 5 dedicated shower and toilet facilities, daily routines remain efficient even during high tempo camp schedules. The layout encourages communal living, creating natural opportunities for bonding, reflection and stronger team cohesion.

Importantly, the space has been designed with flexibility in mind. The dorm can be easily converted into a multi purpose hall for indoor briefings, leadership workshops, wet weather programmes or evening reflections. This adaptability enhances programme flow and ensures continuity regardless of weather conditions or cohort size.

Together with the existing 12 chalet styled rooms, the expanded accommodation options provide greater planning flexibility while maintaining effective supervision and group dynamics. Strategically located by the bank of the historic River Kwai and near to adventure activity sites, Chadakan Resort continues to serve as a base for rafting expeditions, trekking experiences and immersive leadership challenges.
